On this day in Lewis & Clark history...
The Expedition continues up the Missouri River reaching present Bonne Femme Creek near Booneville, Missouri. They find a rock projecting into the river with Indian paintings, carvings and good quality flint.

one mile past a rock on the N. Side whare the pictures of the Devil and other things We Kild 3 Rattel Snakes at that Rock
