On this day in Lewis & Clark history...

Most of this day is spent with the Court Martial trail of Shields, Colter, and Frasier. The blacksmiths continue working on items for the journey, and they bring in some of their completed work. The day proves windy with rain and hail.

From the journals...

we have a trial of John Shields. John Colter & R Frasure which take up the greater part of the day, in the evening we walk to Higgens    a blustering day all day, the blacksmiths return with part of their work finished
