On this day in Lewis & Clark history...

Goodrich and Willard bring supplies to Camp River Dubois. Shannon catches 3 large catfish, and others collect honey from trees nearby. Several Sauk and Fox Indians are given food. In the evening, the mosquitos become bothersome.

at 11 oClock 24 Sauckees Came pass from St Louis, and asked for Provisions    I ordered them 75 lb Beef, 25 lb flour, & 50 lb meal—
