On this day in Lewis & Clark history...

The day is fair, so Clark has blankets and other cargo put out to dry before stowing them in the new Camp Dubois storeroom. Three Frenchman chase a wounded swan in a pirogue, and Drouillard sees three bear on the far side of the prairie.
