On this day in Lewis & Clark history...

Lewis is taking the keelboat down the Ohio River. We know from correspondence that he would be close to or arriving at Cincinnati, Ohio on this date.

From the journals...

Bullskin creek, on the right shore, Channel one third over from the left shore. Half a mile below Bullskin is a sand-bar on the left shore, channel is near the right shore.
Indian creek, right shore, Channel about the middle of the river.
